CERT Animal Response Modules I & II
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recognizes the importance of preparing citizens for natural disasters, or manmade/technological events. Whatever the disaster, it affects pets and wildlife as well. It is essential to address the needs of animals in any disaster response. Using the July 2010 FEMA files, ToucanEd has organized the CERT supplemental Animal Response Modules I and II into one binder and CD. These two modules will help prepare CERT members, already trained in the CERT Basic Course, to safely care for and assist animals in emergency events.
