WomenHeart®: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease is the national patient centered organization supporting women living with heart disease—the leading cause of death in women. WomenHeart was founded in 1999 by three women heart attack survivors who all experienced misdiagnosis, isolation, and lack of support. WomenHeart leads the nation in providing education, patient support programs, and events. WomenHeart also offers an online patient support community where women heart patients can connect with other women to share their heart journey.
ToucanEd is proud to work with WomenHeart, a not-for-profit organization. We have developed educational modules for their program. These included research and writing, developmental editing, design, art, layout and printing materials.
We are also fortunate to work with Mission Critical Health, who created the video components that accompanied each module.
