Antibiotic resistance is one of the world’s most pressing public health problems. ToucanEd has developed a Superbugs Basic Course to help health care settings address this pressing issue.

This basic self-contained course is easy to understand and has components to educate your staff. Individuals can take this course on a computer or you can instruct your audience with the interactive PowerPoint presentation.

The course includes three modules that:

  • explain what Superbugs(MDROs) are and why they are a problem
  • describe measures health care workers need to take to reduce hospital-associated infection (HAI) rates
  • explain how to care for patients with MDROs
  • explain steps for environmental cleaning to stop the spread of germs
